DuckPond
For open source

Contribute to open source without writing code

Find a public project on GitHub and describe the change you'd like. An AI makes it, you try it in a live preview, and DuckPond opens the pull request.

How it works

  1. 1

    Describe the change

Say what you'd like in your own words, like you'd tell a friend. No code, no setup.

  2. 2

Try it in a live preview

An AI makes the change in a private copy of the app. Click around, and ask for more until it's right.

  3. 3

    DuckPond opens the pull request

Happy with it? DuckPond sends it to the maintainers as a pull request, credited to you.

You never need to read or write the project's code. The maintainers review your change like any other pull request and decide whether it's merged.

What you need

A GitHub account

To sign in. The pull request is opened for you and credited to you.

Your own AI

Your GitHub Copilot (the free plan works) or your own OpenRouter account makes the change.

An E2B account

Your change is built and previewed in a sandbox on your E2B account.

Want your own version instead?

Soon you'll be able to change an open-source app just for you and put it online with a host like Railway, still without writing code.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the change in plain words and try it in a live preview. You never read or write the project's code.
Which projects can I contribute to?
Public projects on GitHub that DuckPond can build. For now, search finds projects written in TypeScript or JavaScript, plus the featured ones.
Who opens the pull request?
DuckPond's GitHub account opens it from its fork of the project, and the commit credits you as a co-author. The maintainers review it like any other pull request.
Can I keep my own version of the app instead?
Soon. You'll be able to keep your changes in your own copy and put it online with a host like Railway, without writing code.
