Let anyone improve your app — without sharing your code
People describe a change on DuckPond. An AI makes it in a private workspace, they try it in a live preview, and you get a pull request to review. Your source code never leaves your hands.

How it works
Three steps on each side. No code, no setup for contributors.
- 1
Install the GitHub App
Pick the private repositories DuckPond may work on. Only the app gets access — nobody else.
- 2
Describe your project
Say what the app is and which changes are welcome. Open it to everyone, or invite people.
- 3
Review pull requests
Every submitted change arrives as a normal pull request. You decide what gets merged.
- 1
Open the contribute link
The maintainers share a link to their project. Sign in with GitHub — that's all the setup.
- 2
Ask for a change
Describe it in your own words. An AI makes the change in a private workspace.
- 3
Try it, then send it
Click around a live preview of the app. Happy with it? Submit it to the maintainers.
Your code stays private
Contributors never see source code, file names or diffs — only plain-language updates and a live preview.
Free for maintainers
Contributors use their own GitHub Copilot (the free plan works). Or sponsor AI with your OpenRouter account, with spend caps.
Safe by default
Protected paths can never be changed, every change is checked before preview, and nothing reaches your repo until you review it.
Questions
- Can contributors see my source code?
- No. They see plain-language updates and a live preview of the app, never source code, file names or diffs.
- Do contributors need to know how to code?
- No. They describe changes in their own words, an AI makes them, and they try them in a live preview.
- How do changes reach my repository?
- As normal pull requests. Nothing is merged until you review it, and protected paths can never be changed.
- Who can contribute?
- You decide: open your project to everyone, or invite people.
